Flavor Time Turkey Smash Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of ground turkey
- 1 grated small onion
- 1 grated fresh jalapeño
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp steak sauce
- 1 sleeve of Ritz crackers crushed.
Directions
Prep and Smash
Combine ingredients and mix until evenly incorporated. Separate the mixture into 3-ounce meatballs and preheat your griddle or pan to medium-high heat. Add meatballs to your cooking surface and smash until thin with a spatula. Flip once juices start to start to bubble up on the top of the smashed patties. Add pepper jack cheese to patties Insert a thermometer into the side of each burger and pull once they have reached 165°F.
Build your Smash Burger
Spread mustard evenly across buns and top with your burger, spinach, and tomato and a dash of your favorite hot sauce.
