Smoked Turkey Salad Roll

  • 2 c smoked turkey, diced
  • 1/2 c mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp pecans, chopped
  • 2 tbsp dried cranberries
  • 1 medium Roma tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1 tbsp chives, chopped; plus additional for garnish
  • Zest of 1/2 a lime
  • Salt and pepper
  • 6 split top hot dog buns


In a large bowl, add the turkey and mayonnaise. Combine gently.

Add the celery, pecans, dried cranberries, tomato, chives and lime zest.

Season with salt and pepper.

Fold gently until everything is incorporated.

Toast the buns if desired. Divide the smoked turkey salad evenly among them. Garnish with a little chopped chive.

This smoked turkey salad roll recipe can be adjusted to your liking in many ways. Feel free to improvise. You can add a leaf of romaine to the bun before you add the salad or even serve it in a lettuce wrap. Plus, it’s a great way to use up turkey leftovers!
